Riding-Time

In the car with my son driving for a long one. He has improved a lot, but I still frustrate him. It's nice getting chauffeured finally. My partner hasn't liked driving a lot.

Lately, giving Doom Emacs (evil mode, of course) a try. Mostly for Org mode, which I, a filthy sinner, do enjoy. Org mode just clicks with me, and I don't have to manage stuff like Vim & Neovim. To me, having Vim bindings and having it just work with very, very little setup was nice.

A while back, was giving wikis a try, but backlinking was not fun. Gave Vimwiki a try, but similar issues and features had me customizing it A LOT. So going to Org mode and it just working is nice. I kind of like the setup with it, too. Still need to improve my Vim game, though.

This morning I got an Android app that will sync with my Doom Emacs. I like having the ability to go from desktop to shopping list pretty easily.
