Hello, I'm Alex.

I am a Linux enthusiast and have a few other interests like bicycle commuting, The Episcopal Church, being a Democrat in Rural Red Oklahoma, Beginner Gardening, Electronic/computer Tinkering, and just being a dad of two great kids, and life in Southwest Oklahoma.

Currently Workign On

• E-Bike Commuting Starting to bicycle 16-18 miles to work. Commuter not a Cyclist & Finding how to maintain this.
• Linux I'm an enthusiast & NOT A PRO but I rather enjoy Linux. Spent too long not daily driving but making up for lost time.
• Gardening Nothing crazy and like the bike, just having fun while I shrink the amount of yard that I loathe mowing.
• Self-hosting Started with Jellyfin but now its gotten out of hand but I love it.

Why This Blog?

Eh? I saw that I had my URL linked on my Mastodon account. Decided to get it fired up and had learn Eleventy on my list & that also feeds into my Self-hosting problem.
